My daughter has been struggling with Math after falling behind from being in the hospital. These flashcards have helped quite a bit and I have also been sending them to school with her each day for her to keep working with her helper. These are easy for her to read and for me to understand as well in case she does need help. What I love the most about these is that they look at all aspects of Math, not just addition or subtraction.

I like these cards and think they will come in handy for over the summer school break. They are memory cards not necessarily flash card. So they have the facts with answers as you look at them instead of quizzing yourself. I think this is great for introducing new ideas/concepts and then reinforcing it.

Now before I move forward with this article, let me clear one thing. I do not stand against the concept of tutors, tutors are there to help your child and that is a good thing. But having said that I always believe that getting a third party involved in your child’s learning, when there are already teachers and parents involved in the child’s life, should be the last resort.
