I have two little boys and that means the house is full of toys. Since they have a slight age gap between them, they share a set of common toys that they play together. Playing together is something that they look forward to. It is possible that they may like beating one another in the game or they genuinely like playing together. As a mother of two, I was obliged to pick the best games for them throughout. But, as time passed by, I found a significant change in my approach to choosing games. Earlier on, I focused more on the fun factor, but with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) wave coming in, I have done an extensive research to find the best STEM toy gifts for kids this holiday season or otherwise.

I hope my list helped you in finding some interesting STEM toy gifts for kids of your family and friends. These are games based on the four major divisions of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). I and my entire family are board game enthusiasts and therefore we love to know the benefits of playing board games as well as try new board games. What works for us is the fact that they are highly playful and fun. Of course, the learning factor holds importance, but learning has to go hand in hand with fun. A colleague of mine list down the best gift ideas for 10 to 13-year-olds, I did buy a few toys from the list. I hope it helps you as well. I conduct play dates with my friends and their kids where everyone brings their own favorite board education board game. There are days when the kids do not feel like playing games, so they go ahead and solve colorful math worksheets.
