1)Math Kangaroo

Math Kangaroo Competition is an international, once a year event, always on the third Thursday in March. Math Kangaroo encourages kids to master their mathematical knowledge. Mission to make kids realize the importance of math and how significant it is in every part of the world is the driving force behind Math Kangaroo.

Any student from grade 1 to 12 can apply for this contest

2)Noetic Learning Math Contest

The Noetic Learning Math Contest is a biannual math contest for elementary students. The contest encourages students’ interest in math, develops their problem-solving skills, and inspires them to excel.They also have e-learning programs for kids to increase their engagement level and enhance their fluency in the mathematical concepts.

Students from grade 2 to 8 are eligible to apply

3)Perennial Math

Brainchild of Dr. Sylvia Dean, a gifted specialist for 26 years who coached and coordinated robotics, math, and technology competitions, Perennial Math aims make math seem Cool for students. Their goal is to stimulate enthusiasm amongst young kids for problem solving.
Eligibility
Students from grade 3 to 8 can participate in this competition

Teams as well as individual students can be registered online
Important Dates
Tests will be online beginning in November and ending in February. There are 4 tests per year.
Preparation
Tests from the previous year and a series of Power Points with questions to develop problem-solving skills will be shipped to the applicants. Weekly (45 minute- 1 hour) practice session with the participating team is recommended.

4)Game-a-thon

Sponsored by MIND Reasearch Institute, Game-a-thon Challange to cultivate and showcase game designs featuring creative and unusual solutions to mathematical challenges.
Teams of Students can invent their own games, be it indoor games like card games, board games, apps or outdoor games or anything else that address a mathematical topic ranging from counting irrational to measurement to modelling.
Eligibility
Students from Kindergarten to grade 12 can apply
How to apply
Application to this competition is a 3-step process
Step1 Follow the Game design guidelines
Step2 Film a video of the game with a description of how it works, the math concept(s) it explores, and then upload the video to YouTube.
Step3Submit the video link by completing the Game-a-thon submission

Entries for the 2016 Challenge will be accepted starting January 1, 2016.
